Attend Mike Fly’s web series workshop, Regina, March 4 Posted: 07 Feb 2017 12:37 PM PST NSI grad and TELUS STORYHIVE faculty member Mike Fly (NSI Drama Prize) will conduct a one-day web series workshop in Regina on March 4. Hosted by the Saskatchewan Media Production Industry Association (SMPIA), Mike will cover the basics of developing, writing, shooting, producing and monetizing your web series. The workshop will approach the common aspects of developing a DIY web series as well as a fully funded project on scale with today’s digital funding opportunities. Mike will use the award-winning web series Versus Valerie and its accompanying transmedia project Sexy Nerd Girl as a case study, with access to the budget and business plan that brought the series to life. Register by 12 p.m. on February 24 to reserve your spot. Registration is $105 and SMPIA members receive a 50% discount. Space is limited. |
