Wynonna Earp goes international with Cineflix Rights

Congratulations to the cast and crew of Wynonna Earp, including executive producer Tom Cox (NSI DramaLab), for launching their series internationally.

Cineflix Rights and NBCUniversal International Networks signed a deal which will bring all four seasons of the series to channels in Iberia, France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland and the Balkans.

Based on the comic book, the show follows Wynonna Earp as she battles demons and other creatures. The fourth season aired in July and August, with production halting due to the pandemic.

Gharrett Patrick Paon’s series picked up for distribution

I am Syd Stone, produced and co-written by Gharrett Patrick Paon (NSI Features First), has been acquired for distribution by levelFILM.

The six-part digital series, directed and co-written by Denis Theriault, follows a Hollywood actor as he enters into a secret affair with another man. The series, which was originally a short film, was nominated for the 2014 Iris Prize.

The film received funding from Telefilm’s Talent to Watch program and premiered at Inside Out LGBT Film Festival earlier this month.
