Deadline extended: apply for NSI New Northern Voices by September 5, 2019 Posted: 29 Aug 2019 02:34 PM PDT If you’ve been thinking of applying for new training course NSI New Northern Voices, now’s the time. We’ve just extended the application deadline date until September 5, 2019. NSI New Northern Voices is a FREE, four week, full-time course taking place at University College of the North in The Pas and offers an introduction to digital media-based storytelling for northern Manitoba residents aged 18+. The program will deliver a well-rounded understanding of storytelling and media production skills, create an environment for long-term growth and build capacity for the screen industry in the region. The program aims to develop content creators to write, direct and produce stories from a northern Manitoba perspective. To apply, you need to submit a letter describing your interest in the media industry, contact information for one reference and an idea for a three-minute fictional film. We want to hear from you!
