Submit your film to the Willson Oakville Film Festival 2019 Posted: 12 Feb 2019 01:54 PM PST Oakville Festivals of Film & Art (OFFA) is now accepting film submissions for the 2019 Willson Oakville Film Festival. Now in its sixth year, the Willson Oakville Film Festival showcases and promotes excellent films in all genres (drama, comedies, documentaries, shorts, animation and, new for 2019, short web series) by Canadian and international filmmakers. The festival takes place in Oakville, Ontario from June 20 to 23, 2019. Submission deadline is April 8, 2019. Read more about the festival and submit your film. B is for Bus Driver by Christopher Redmond to air on Sesame Street, February 23 Posted: 12 Feb 2019 01:16 PM PST Writer/director Christopher Redmond (NSI Features First) and producer Hoda Elatawi (NSI Global Marketing) of GAPC Entertainment have joined forces to create a one-minute spot, B is for Bus Driver, for an episode of Sesame Street, set to air February 23, 2019 on HBO. The entire episode, Ruby Rides the Bus, will also be re-broadcast on PBS in about nine months. Production took place in Ottawa in May 2018 using local crew and cast, including OC Transpo bus drivers.
