Camille Beaudoin, Eric Rebalkin launch Girls in Film & Television (GIFT) Posted: 16 Aug 2018 06:00 PM PDT Camille Beaudoin (NSI Totally Television, NSI Features First) and Eric Rebalkin (NSI Business For Producers) of Mosaic Entertainment have announced the launch of a new national program called Girls In Film and Television (GIFT) to address the issue of gender parity on screen and behind the camera. By giving teen girls hands-on instruction and experience in filmmaking, GIFT aims to empower the next generation of women filmmakers and key creative and technical craftspeople. Programming begins with inaugural five-day filmmaking workshops on August 26 (Edmonton) and September 21 (Lethbridge). Workshops are open to girls ages 14 to 18 and cost $250 per week.
