NSI IndigiDocs short NDNs on the Airwaves to screen at Vox Popular Media Arts Festival Posted: 14 Aug 2018 02:16 PM PDT NSI IndigiDocs short NDNs on the Airwaves has been selected to screen at the 14th annual Vox Popular Media Arts Festival (formerly the Bay Street Film Festival) in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Pushing the form of documentary, NDNs on the Airwaves uses poetry, soundscapes and voice in a mash-up style of storytelling. Director Jackson 2Bears follows the extraordinary soundscapes and work of Janet Rogers as she journeys back home to Six Nations, over the airwaves, as she finds her own voice and that of her people. Vox Popular runs from September 13 to 16, 2018. In The PsyBorgs, malicious General Blight and the insidious forces of T.O.X.I.N. have moved beyond selling cigarettes to kids and set their sights on total galactic domination. Unfortunately for Blight, John Carbon and his team of super soldiers are ready to take down whatever bad guys General Blight sends their way. GenreBlast is an international independent genre film festival and takes place over Labour Day weekend, August 30 to September 2, 2018.
