Cowboy Smithx profiled by Calgary Arts Development

Filmmaker and artist Cowboy Smithx (NSI IndigiDocs) is profiled (in the video above) by Calgary Arts Development for their their showcase series The Storytelling Project. The project highlights Calgarians with creative careers who help enrich the city and effect positive change.

A Blackfoot filmmaker from the Piikani and Kainai Nations in Southern Alberta, Cowboy uses his culture as a foundation to create. He is the founder and curator of the highly acclaimed international Indigenous speaker series REDx Talks and is the artistic director for the Iiniistsi Treaty Arts Society.
