Last week to catch our WOOD show, we're putting together a seriously good gifting guide, and take note of the last posting dates for Christmas.

Harvest festival

We are embracing the turn of the season with this wonderful 4-colour riso Harvest Print by Printer Johnson. With its pumpkins, pears, apples and blackberries, it's giving proper Autumn vibes, and we are here for it!

Based in Norwich, Vicki Johnson is an illustrator with a background in printmaking and surface pattern design. She makes colourful works with a nostalgic feel inspired by flora, fauna, folk art and the everyday. If you're already missing the sunshine, we can recommend her Orange and Lemon print to conjur warmer days.

We are entering the last week of our WOOD! exhibition here at ABtS, celebrating this most versatile of materials in its many creative forms.

Most playful among them are Will Mower's animal sculptures, like hiselephant above.

It's just one of the fabulous pieces in our latest show, which also features hand-hewn furniture, wood cuts, hand-turned toy trees, chopping boards, jewellery and much more besides.

Open this weekend and running until 10th November. Don't miss it!

Perfect for posting

As the gifting season is coming up fast, we thought we'd put together some suggestions for unique and thoughtful presents to send to your nearest and dearest - no matter how far away they may be!

We're starting with some easily postable gifts. The latest international posting dates are between the 3rd - 6th December - just a month away - so you'd best get packing your parcels.

Warm and fuzzy feeling

We have a growing selection of sumptuously soft knits here in the gallery. Hats, gloves, scarves, socks and homewares, in a range of wonderful styles and hues, they are the nearest thing to sending a hug in the post.
