The State of Minnesota just released a decision to reduce the amount that is paid to each customer for standard residential and commercial systems that are installed from applications received next year versus this year. While these changes are good in the sense that it means that a more limited pool of incentives can be spread out to more Xcel customers, it will end up costing more to go solar for the average customer who misses out on this year’s pool of incentives. |
| | There’s still time for you to apply and lock in 2018 incentives for an installation that gets turned on in 2019! Limited 2018 funding is still available, but the deadline to apply is quickly approaching. Applications require a confirmed system design, which in turn, requires a request a free consultation to be scheduled to determine if your property is a good candidate for solar.
