After many months of works our JPI Media Investigations team - has launched their new project 'An unbroken chain: Modern slavery in the UK.'

If right now you are thinking this doesn't impact you, you can think again, as within communities here in Lancashire perpetrators are dodging convictions and victims suffering due to systematic failing by the criminal justice system.

This includes vulnerable children swept up by county lines drugs gangs and sexual exploitation of trafficked women. This is an important piece of work and we are very proud of the team of talented reporters that have produced it.
