Ladies Night Weekend Showcase Sydnee Washington, Brandi Denise Boyd & Paris Sashay Brandi Denise Boyd is a social worker turned standup comedian, actor, and writer! Most recently she was selected as one of Just For Laughs New Faces of Comedy. Her new Comedy Central Feature just dropped and is going viral. Brandi had a series regular role on the BET show GAMES PEOPLE PLAY, and can be seen recurring on Starz’ POWER and POWER BOOK II: GHOST. Brandi is an alumnus of Chicago Second City Improv Program and a Conservatory Student, Annoyance theater alumni and the I.O. Writing for a TV Program. Brandi‘s standup comedy is often described as honest, witty and refreshing with huge bursts of energy.
SYDNEE WASHINGTON was born in New York City but spent most of her childhood in Oakland, California. She is the host of her own Instagram Live show SYD CAN COOK and the host of Headgum's "Hobby Hunter." She co-hosts the popular podcast “The Unofficial Expert”, where she discusses her many fields of expertise, like flirting, porn, daddy issues, online dating, cookouts, stalking, sex toys, and Runaway Brides. Sydnee was recently honored as an “UpNext” comedian at Comedy Central’s Clusterfest. Sydnee also hosted a weekly comedy show at the Knitting Factory and can be seen on this season of TruTV’s “Laff Mobb Laugh Tracks”. Her humor and view toward vanity, dating both sexes, and how to party safely as a woman are both unique and refreshing.
Paris Sashay is a comedienne, actor, writer and producer from Washington, DC, but Currently living in New York. Her command as a seasoned storyteller makes even the mundane experience feel like an adventure. Audiences across the country fall in love with her infectious laugh, wit, and style. Nothing can stop Paris’ ascension to stardom, unequivocally one of the funniest rising comediennes with highlight performances at Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal as a 'New Faces', BET 50 Central, Comedy Central and 'Unprotected Sets' on EPIX. Also, with performances at The Howard Theatre The Kennedy Center, The Comedy Store and Caroline’s on Broadway. She triumphantly debuted at the DC Improv only days after losing several teeth in a brutal attack by a toxic man sexually harassing her on the street. In 2016, Paris launched the #TeethAndTittiesCampaign raising awareness about violence against women. Paris has featured for Michael Che, Dick Gregory, Domonique, Jen Kirkman, Jay Chandrasekhar, and Nimesh Patel offering her piercing insight on issues of the day.

Shapel Lacey Shapel Lacey is a Los Angeles based comedian born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. A diehard punk rocker and former award-winning competitive cheerleader, Shapel found ways to express himself and own his individuality at an early age. Shapel was cheerleading competitively for University of Louisville when someone dared him to take the stage as a comedian and he never looked back, dropping out shortly thereafter to pursue a career in stand up full-time. His unique life experiences such as being adopted by a Caucasian family at age 15, his punk rock mentality, and his stage presence make for a truly original voice in the comedy community. Diligence and the desire to grow led Shapel from the Phoenix open mic circuit onto main stages, where he regularly performed for comedians such as Bill Burr, Hannibal Buress, and Brendan Schaub, and is now headlining clubs across the country. LaVar Walker After winning the 2012 national Miller Lite Stand Up comedy competition judged by Kevin Hart, comedian/writer LaVar Walker joined The Shaquille O’Neal All Star Comedy Jam, touring 42 markets and taping a Showtime special as well. In addition to this, he was a finalist for the NBC Diversity Showcase and advanced to the semifinals in NBC’s Last Comic Standing. The 18th Annual Backcountry Film Festival is screening documentaries and ski movies about athletic pursuit in the mountains, artistic vision, friendship, and how the snowsports community is adapting to a changing environment. Ian Fidance Ian Fidance is an offbeat yet upbeat New York City comic, actor, and writer originally from Wilmington, Delaware. An absolute force on stage, his act is insanely positive and positively insane. Caitlin Peluffo Originally hailing from San Francisco, Caitlin Peluffo is a stand up comedian living in New York City. This lovable loose cannon recently made her network television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, was featured on the Late Late Show with James Corden, and has been seen on NBC Seeso’s “New York’s Funniest” as well as the Comcast Network as a finalist in the ‘Trial By Laughter Comedy Competition.’ She was named a 2022 Just for Laughs New Face and appeared on JFL Network. She opens regularly for Maria Bamford, Brian Regan, Matteo Lane, and Fortune Feimster. Peluffo is a regular in the NYC comedy scene performing in clubs like The Comedy Cellar, New York Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, Stand Up NY, and was recently featured in the Caroline’s on Broadway Breakout Artist Series.
