LA Weekly Things To Do: Making Memories Festival + MORE!

The venerable Alex Theatre in Glendale is getting back to what it does best, launching its new series, the ALEX Picture Show, with a weekend-long Hocus-Focus Film Festival. A series of classic and cult horror films will be paired with curated short subject horror films from local filmmakers.

Join L.A. GOAL for our free 32nd Annual Art Show on October 29th, 10:30AM-3:30PM. The show is titled, “Peace by Piece,” and showcases the artwork of our Artists. This is a vital opportunity to educate the public about the abilities of individuals with developmental disabilities.

All persons must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Please bring both your vaccination card and a photo ID, we will be checking both. Masks will also be required.

Wheel of Fortune LIVE! brings America’s Game® to Thousand Oaks on November 9! The all-new live stage show, hosted by Clay Aiken, is the one-and-only way you can have the chance to spin a replica of the wheel and win prizes outside of Sony Pictures Studios. Contestants are selected from the audience to go on stage and step into the game show itself with a chance to spin, solve puzzles, and win prizes at every show.

Kidspace is a nonprofit museum, located in Pasadena, designed to delight and engage children emotionally, intellectually, and physically through joyful, kid-driven experiences. We invite all children to play, discover, create, thrive, and to explore the world with curiosity and kindness.
