We say Mother Nature has created a beautiful creature…or did she?” A group of scientists experimenting with splicing different insects with silkworms in order to create a stronger silk, accidentally create a species of mutant, flesh-eating butterflies that get released on the world. Now they must find a way to stop the killer butterflies before it is too late.

It’s time, LA! Fulfill your inner desires for dumplings at Los Angeles’ first ever immersive Dumpling Pop-up Experience, only at ROW DTLA. Dumpling & Associates is an extraordinary interactive exhibit where you’ll experience 15 rooms of multi-sensory installations that merge tradition, culture, design, optimism and… Dumplings! Experience the next great wave of LA’s foodie scene with the Dumpling & Associates Pop-up Museum. But hurry, these tickets will go faster than you can say, “Ni Hao!”

Afrofuteristic art and cosmic funk collide in 360 VR as legends of funk including members and former members of James Brown, P-Funk, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fishbone and Bootsy’s Rubber Band come together for Interplanetary Funksmanship. Catch Fred Wesley, Grammy nominee Georgia Anne Muldrow, Blackbyrd McKnight, Norwood Fisher and Trulio Disgracious for a night of serious intergalactic funk! Dj Battlecat also plays a Ras G tribute set joined by Wu-Tang affiliate Killah Priest. Afrofuteristic visionary artists Black Kirby will be projecting their works in 360 VR.

MARINA LIGHTS  Saturdays is an interactive, nighttime experience in Marina del Rey. Stroll through a festive holiday light display at Burton Chace Park. Plus, enjoy free festivities on select Saturday nights. Take a unique holiday photo in front of a giant snow globe from 4-8pm. Kentyah and Norwood present “I Wanna Take You Higher” NYE 2020 featuring legendary New Orleans funk band, Dumpstaphunk playing a special Sly & The Family Stone set. They are joined by The Gaslamp Killer playing a futuristic freak funk set and L.A.’s House Shoes djing a deep groove funk set. Complete with a champagne toast, Cirque du Soleil dancers and performers, MMJ hang space and more special musical guests New Year’s is going to be a legendary last night of the decade!!!
