Abu Dhabi date for NASCAR’s new champion
Great to see Kyle Larson win his first NASCAR Cup title in Phoenix last weekend, totally deserving given his 11 race wins across the season (five regular season, five in the playoffs and the All-Star race) and an amazing way to cap his first season with Hendrick Motorsports. As Larson tells Will Buxton, on the Motorsport.tv show This Week with Will Buxton, he plans to attend the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix to get his first taste of Formula 1 action in the flesh. Will joked that he should see if he can get a ride in the post-race test, and Kyle sounded well up for it! As McLaren is giving its IndyCar star Pato O’Ward a run, maybe it could find time to give another Chevrolet driver a turn?
