The Leap is back! | A new season of stories about people making radical, risky changes | |
| | The Leap is back for a brand new season. Hosted by KQED's Judy Campbell and featuring stories produced by Campbell, April Dembosky and Chris Colin, the new season features six new tales of surprising and sometimes dangerous transformations. Listeners will meet a family man who meets and tries to forge relationships with almost two dozen children he had never knew he had; a local punk rocker who leaves guitars and a girlfriend behind to join a Kurdish military in Syria; and a professional dancer who poses an elaborate double-life as an attorney to appease her immigrant parents, among others. The new season kicks off today with the story of a mother's dramatic, high-risk attempts to reunite with a daughter abducted by her ex. New episodes publish every other Tuesday through July 24. To take the leap, subscribe on Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts to start listening to the new season and catch up on previous ones. Or visit kqed.org/theleap. |
