Beyond Bollywood: 2000 Years of Dance in Art reveals the power of dance in the visual arts of South and Southeast Asia and the Himalayas, where dance plays a central role in religion, mythology, and ceremony. The exhibition includes over 120 artworks, from ancient sculpture and painting to contemporary video works, as well as pop-up live dance performances.
