Editor's note: Social media has amplified the belief that one must “stand-out.” One must take extraordinary actions or have a broad reach to lead a purposeful life. We celebrate those who have big "social platforms", while not fully honoring those who do humble, quiet, deeply meaningful and “impactful” work -- like caring for or loving just one person or one small place on this earth. Perhaps our feeling that we should make a big impact needs healing. In this newsletter, we continue to shine the light on small acts, that bring a quiet joy to the person in front of us.
