Though they be eras apart, the Featherington sisters in the Netflix hit Bridgerton was inspired by reality TV sisters the Kardashians.

A bit late to the Bridgerton party, Kim Kardashian shared that she started watching the series at the end of March and, just like the rest of us, was hooked.

On Tuesday, Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington/Lady Whistledown, revealed a behind-the-scenes tidbit. She wrote on Twitter: "As the world's number one Bridgerton stan does Kim Kardashian know that the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings? Because I feel like she should know this.
