Danticat will join Kerri Miller on Tuesday, September 17th to discuss her new book “We’re Alone”, a collection of essays combining personal narrative, reportage, and tributes to mentors and heroes. “We’re Alone” traces Edwidge Danticat's childhood through the COVID-19 pandemic and recent events in Haiti, while exploring themes such as environmental catastrophe, the traumas of colonialism, motherhood, and resilience.
