Message from Mike Norman, CEO |
I’m excited to announce Kentucky Science Center will be opening seven days a week to members and the general public starting this upcoming Monday, August 3. Our weekend openings in July allowed us to put into practice our safe and healthy at work protocols helping to provide the safety and well-being of families who visit, and our team of dedicated Science Center professionals. |
| As students start their school year balancing in-person and non-traditional instruction formats, feel comforted in knowing Kentucky Science Center is here to support parents, teachers, and school systems across the region. Recognizing the need to fulfill instructional gaps, our education team is working diligently to develop fun and educational curriculum-based activities available virtually and in-person where appropriate. Continue following our social media to learn more about the education programs and School's Out Science Camps we will offer throughout the month of August. |
I also encourage you to share this wonderful opportunity offered by our partners at the Louisville Free Public Library, Metro United Way, and Norton Healthcare. This team is hosting a Drive-Thru Kindergarten Kickoff! All rising kindergarteners and their families are invited to attend at the South Central Regional Library for a drive-thru celebration on Thursday, August 6, from 5 – 7 p.m. Please share these opportunities with your family and friends. Together, we will all get through this and support the many children and families in our community. Mike Norman, CEO |
