Spinach pasta is a very tasty type of homemade pasta and a great way to sneak some vegetables in the kids. It's great with spaghetti sauce, cream based sauces like Alfredo sauce, pesto sauces, or our favorite, homemade shrimp scampi!

Peeling Garlic Easily in a Jar
By attosa
Don't buy pre-peeled garlic or spend the time doing it yourself. Avoid the garlicky fingers by putting your garlic in a jar, screw the lid on, and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. The first half the of the shaking will break the cloves off, and the second half will peel the skins right off the cloves. It's a great little workout, too! ;)

This is a moist muffin perfect for breakfast or a snack. I used whole wheat flour and brown sugar Truvia. I also used whey instead of milk. This is a perfect way to use up bananas.

Today's QuestionsFavorite Recipes from North CarolinaI was recently working on a question that was posted some time in the past, asking about easy recipes to cook for a transplanted North Carolinian. I know we have quite a few members who live in North Carolina and I was wondering what you would recommend. I'm in the Pacific NW, so the food is about as different as possible. :)Banana Bread Rises in the MiddleWhy does my banana bread rise in the middle?ThriftyFun Contests! This newsletter is powered by you!
