KADN lets go of 19, including its morning show team

BY ADAM DAIGLE | Acadiana Business Editor

Good morning, Acadiana business news readers. Let's get to the headlines.

The news started trickling out Monday about significant layoffs at KADN, and here's what I have been able to confirm: 19 let go, including its morning show crew of Al Hebert, weatherman Adam Olivier and co-anchors Alex Worstell and Scott Brazda.

It's part of companywide cuts. One website that reports on TV stations across the country indicated KADN's parent company has mandated its stations cut $1 million from their budgets.

Check back later on this because more news may shake out of it.

Have a great day and thanks for reading.
