Jupiter Enters Scorpio Dear John,
Blessings to you and yours!
My opening thoughts ran long for this space, just like last time, so I once again put them in the article right under this one.
I will briefly mention that I'm in a new relationship with an amazing woman named Melissa. I invited her to move in with me one week after we met (!), and our relationship has significantly exceeded my expectations in the weeks since. I'll share more about her in the future.
By the way, this newsletter was actually on track to go out on time, but is late because I chose to spend three days helping Melissa complete the move from her house into mine. I apologize for my tardiness -- the fault is entirely mine.

The Las Vegas Mass Shooting: Why Your Response Matters
The USA has just experienced the deadliest mass shooting in our history: 59 dead and 525 wounded in Las Vegas at last count. There were plenty of astrological factors setting up the energy of this tragedy, both in the sky chart of the incident and transits to the USA chart.But I don't want to go into the astrology of the incident. If you're curious, plenty of other astrologers have already covered this. I think it will be more helpful for you to examine your personal response to this incident.How Dark Forces FeedAs I pointed out in my February 23 post, "Love Trumps Trump: Using the President as a Spiritual Catalyst," dark forces feed on negative emotions. From a shamanic perspective, the Las Vegas shooter Stephen Craig Paddock wreaked havoc on so many innocent people because he was infested with negative entities.It's certainly understandable if someone responds to the shooting with anger, hatred or rage. But if they do, they're feeding the forces of darkness. This lays the energetic groundwork for even more horrible incidents in the future.You're not responsible for the initial uprising of a particular thought or emotion within you.
