Kids at CAM: Juneteenth Commemoration

Saturday, June 28 | 10 AM – 12 PM

Commemorate Juneteenth with a special edition of Kids@CAM, a family-friendly morning of creativity, expression, and connection. Enjoy hands-on art activities for all ages, parents included, facilitated by museum educators.

This month poet and teaching artist Mahlaynee Cooper (aka Carrie Assata)  joins us to reflect on the question “What does Freedom feel like?” through artistic exploration and storytelling.

At 11:30 AM, take part in a guided, family-friendly tour of the exhibitions.

Participate in the activities, the tour, or both!
