NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
The clock is ticking for the Trump administration's 90-day pause on reciprocal tariffs enacted in April. Although a baseline 10% tariff is still in effect, the country-specific duties are slated to return exactly one month from today.
The pause was intended to give the U.S. time to negotiate, but amid reported discussions with China, India and other countries, uncertainty created by President Donald Trump's swath of trade actions persists.
Shortly after the pause is scheduled to end, Supply Chain Dive will co-host a virtual event on July 23. The program, co-hosted by Manufacturing Dive, Packaging Dive and Trucking Dive, will dissect the latest state of U.S. trade policy and how it is affecting business operations.
Sessions will delve into where trade rules stand as Q3 begins, how companies are strategizing ahead of peak season and the impact on the economy and commodity markets. It’s free to attend, so make sure to reserve your spot now. We’ll see you there.
