The Latest Buzz at the Tool Library |

Opportunity to Participate in the Community Waste Reduction and Reuse Public Engagement Survey This is a survey organized by the City of Ottawa. Feedback gathered through the survey will be used to inform the development of a Community Waste Reduction and Reuse Action Plan. The Action Plan will examine viable options for the City to support, incentivize, or initiate community reduction and reuse events and programs.
These events and programs can include: - Sharing Space/ Swaps/ Library/ Repair Cafes (such as the Ottawa Tool Library and our Repair Café Events!)
- Community reuse events
- Develop community strategies, opportunities and partnerships to increase reuse and recycling and avoid waste
- Subsidies, Rebates, Grants for Options that Avoid, Reduce or Reuse Waste
This survey is available in English, French, Spanish, Arabic, and Simplified Chinese. If you have further questions, you can email the City's Waste Plan Team by email at [email protected].
The City’s survey is now open and will close on July 7th. We encourage everyone to take a few minutes to share their input.
Participating in initiatives like this helps demonstrate public support for community-focused organizations like the Ottawa Tool Library and programs like our Repair Cafés. If you value what we do, or support similar local initiatives, this is a great opportunity to make your voice heard! |
