Mark Feeney of The Boston Globe describes The Philosophy Chamber: Art and Science in Harvard’s Teaching Cabinet, 1766–1820 as “one of this year’s more unusual and marvelous museum exhibitions.” Harvard Magazine also featured the exhibition in its pages, exploring the show’s genesis and historical importance.

Jean Frédéric Bazille’s Summer Scene (Bathers) will be displayed once again in our galleries after returning from the National Gallery of Art in Washington D.C., where it was featured in the much-lauded exhibition Frédéric Bazille and the Birth of Impressionism.
