I am excited to share with you my artistic journey--a journey that has blossomed into work I am extremely proud of.
My work is abstract-expressionistic in nature. Some pieces are filled with bright, colorful shapes, exciting texture and movement. Others are quiet, denoting a search for simplicity, contemplation, and depth of soul.
I approach the easel and the painting surface beckons to me. I start with sketches and scattered color splashes and move into building colors and shapes. They dance across the surface of the painting. Layers emerge and retreat, recognizable forms come and go, lights and shadows provide intrigue, and sensuous lines encourage the viewer to step in and explore.
