Get inspired on at the IDS Main Stage. They are hosting 8 amazing sessions across all three days of the show that are bound to intrigue and inspire. All keynote talks are included with entry to the show. Make sure not to miss Azure Trade Day on September 27, when Azure's own Stefan Novakovic will be speaking with Omar Gandhi, Mariah Samost and Primo Orpilla. All sessions have been submitted for AIBC and IDCEC accreditation.
Sept 27 - 11AM Join Omar Gandhi as he charts the practice's ability to create solutions. Teamwork and attention to mental health play a big part, as well as a willingness to address the potential for drastic and positive change in architecture and how architects respond to community.
An AI-enabled, well-designed future: differentiating hype from reality
Sept 27 - 1PM Mariah Samost will contextualize the AI revolution, run through the current state of AI, and discuss its upcoming capabilities - all as it relates to the design industry. Practically, this will mean sharing examples to help attendees understand how they can leverage AI today.
Crafting Spaces That Resonate
Sept 27 - 3PM Primo Orpilla's talk will center around next-generation workplace design and the elements needed to redefine the purpose and efficacy of the global workplace. This talk will provide actionable insights with supporting case studies and inspire you to create workspaces that are dynamic, inclusive, and environmentally responsible.

Sept 28 - 1PM Discover how Nyla Free designs homes that surpass current trends, crafting enduring interiors that last. With more than two decades of expertise, explore her insights on essential elements for every interior and opportunities to inject creativity.

Sept 28 - 3PM Meet Kate Snyder, one of the principals behind Vancouver-based Studio Roslyn, as she shares how being bold and embracing colour is the only way to stand apart in a sea of beige interiors. See the studio's incredible work and hear how they have built a design firm that offers stunning one-of-a kind spaces.

The Evolution of West Coast Modern
Sept 29 - 11AM Together our guest speakers, Clinton Cuddington, Shirley Shen and Marianne Amodio, will continue the conversation initiated by last year's West Coast Modern Homes panel and discuss a range of work and practice and muse on the idea that stylistic evolutions and adaptations may be resulting in the emergence of a new regional style right here in British Columbia.

Sept 29 - 1PM Celina Dalrymple of ffabb has been hand-making sofas and more from her North Vancouver shop for nearly twenty years. She'll pull back the curtains to reveal what it takes to build a sofa, chair, bar stool and more from concept to creation.

Sept 29 - 3PM Join Craig Stanghetta, co-founder of hospitality brand Banda Volpi and founder/creative director of the notable design studio Ste Marie, for an engaging discussion on infusing personal character and perspective into design.
