Immigration has been a hot topic of debate for some time now and it certainly came up a lot during the recent Federal election.

It's often blamed for the housing crisis, gang violence and social dysfunction as well as putting pressure on hospitals and schools.
 

But don’t we also need more skilled migrants to fix our skills shortages? Or to do many jobs in regional Western Australia which is crying out for workers?
 

So, are there too many people coming into Australia? Or just not enough of the “right” sort of people?
