Join CUESA's Free Sunday Supper Virtual Gala This Sunday! | Join us this Sunday, October 18, at 7:00 pm for CUESA's most important night of the year, bringing together farmers, chefs, and changemakers for a virtual celebration of our essential food community—all from the comfort of your home! (We have just 5 tickets to the four-course feast left, so if you've put off buying your ticket, reserve now before they are gone.) You do not purchase a ticket to join the virtual gala, hosted by the delightful KCBS "Foodie Chap" Liam Mayclem and CUESA's Executive Director Christine Farren. Access to the virtual gala this Sunday at 7:00 pm is FREE, and we hope you can join us for this surprise-filled special night celebrating our essential food and farm community! The show will be full of familiar faces from the farmers market, including inspiring on-farm videos featuring Green Thumb Organics, Lonely Mountain Farm, Root Down Farm, and Yerena Farms. We'll also have lots of guest appearances from our star chefs and bartenders, plus—this just in—a special appearance from Chef Jacques Pépin! Tune in this Sunday starting at 6:30 pm for the pre-gala slideshow; the live gala will start promptly at 7:00 pm. You also have the opportunity to donate to help us raise critical funds for CUESA's farmers markets and education programs, and bid in our online auction to win unique food and farm experiences and items (bidding ends October 18 at 9:00 pm). Proceeds support CUESA's work to grow thriving communities through the power and joy of local food. While we cannot gather in person this year, we are united in creating a fair, regenerative, and delicious food future for all. You are an essential part of this change, and we hope to (virtually) see you on Sunday! | |
| Bid on Exclusive Food Experiences in Our Sunday Supper Online Auction | Whether you've purchased a Sunday Supper "feast" ticket or not, you can still bid on unique food experiences and items, like a cooking class with Chef Pim Techamuanvivit, a Tahoe getaway, a Lonely Mountain Farm dinner with Chef Brandon Jew, and more. The online auction ends this Sunday, October 18, 2020, at 9:00pm PST, so start bidding! Proceeds support CUESA's farmers markets and education programs. | |
