In May, the economy added 339,000 jobs, including gains in professional and business services, government, health care, construction, transportation and warehousing, and social assistance.

$7 million in overdue back wages

A Philadelphia home care agency and its owner must pay 1,230 current and former employees more than $7 million. The decision follows two years of litigation which affirmed that the employers willfully failed to pay overtime wages, in most cases by omitting time for work-related travel.
