Homeless sweep begins: Before dawn this morning, the state began sweeping through homeless encampments in and around downtown New Orleans. Here’s the latest. And Jefferson Parish plans to follow suit. Jazz Fest talent: I know, I know — it’s not even Mardi Gras. But don’t sleep on Jazz Fest, friends.
