I taught my "Refactoring to Java 8 Streams and Lambdas Workshop" last week in Graz, Austria. We had so much fun that I wished we could make this workshop accessible to everyone. But it is so interactive that this seemed an impossible task. Yesterday morning, I finally figured out how it could work.
We recorded the workshop as if I was presenting it to a group of Java programmers, with lots of explanation and interactive coding demos. It is split into 8 sections, ranging from 22 minutes to over an hour. When you purchase the workshop, you are added into an email system that sends you one new section a day. After one week, you would have received all the sections and hopefully learned a lot. Total recorded sessions are just under 5 hours.
Each section consists of a combination of lectures and then practical exercises that you need to solve, with recordings showing how the code should be refactored.
