One of our main goals for TVOT LIVE! (September 8th, 9th and 10th) is to ensure that this virtual event provides all the high-quality networking and business-development opportunities that the in-person TVOT is known for. Here is an overview of the TVOT LIVE! platform experience and of the extensive social features the virtual event will offer:
Prior to the event, registered attendees and speakers will be emailed a link that will allow them to log into the TVOT LIVE! platform, either via their PC’s Web browser or via the Socio mobile app (which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or from Google Play).Once logged in, they will be able to access a searchable, interactive schedule that will let them click to view live sessions on the Main Stage, as well as on-demand recordings of sessions that took place earlier in the day; read session descriptions and speaker bios; and enter the Community Room to take part in Community Discussion sessions (for more on TVOT LIVE!’s Community Discussions, see below). They will also be able to access searchable sponsor pages, where they can view company information, download white papers and other materials, watch informational videos, and schedule 1:1 meetings with TVOT LIVE! sponsors. In addition, the TVOT LIVE! platform will allow attendees to take part in polls, view announcements about the show, and contact the helpdesk.Attendees will also be able to access a “Social Wall,” where, throughout the course of the event, they can introduce themselves to other attendees; post images; promote their own companies and projects; publish announcements; share their thoughts and insights; and more.Throughout the event, attendees will be able to explore a browser-based, navigable audio environment, where they can run into friends and make new contacts.Attendees who download the Socio mobile app will additionally be able to request 1:1 meetings with speakers and other attendees.Extensive opportunities for networking and social interaction will also be incorporated into the TVOT LIVE! schedule. Following Tracy Swedlow’s opening remarks on September 8th, attendees and speakers will be invited to participate in a “Meet and Greet” session (3:15-4:00PM Eastern/12:15-1:00PM Pacific) in the Community Room, where they will be able to introduce themselves via Zoom, and let other attendees know about the kinds of people they are looking to meet at the show and about the business goals they are looking to achieve there.Following the TVOT LIVE! Opening Session (4:00-5:00PM Eastern/1:00-2:00PM Pacific, September 8th), attendees will be invited to attend a virtual Cocktail Party, where they will be able to interact with one another via a browser-based, navigable audio environment. Finally, on September 9th and 10th, following each thematically linked block of panels and keynotes, attendees will be able to participate in Zoom-based Community Discussion sessions in the Community Room, led by prominent industry experts: these sessions will allow them to pose questions to the speakers and moderators from the panels and keynotes they just watched, take part in birds-of-a-feather conversations, break out into smaller, informal discussion groups and communities of interest, network with speakers and fellow attendees, and more.
