We're happy to hear that you all love our Who Forted? exhibit as much as we do!

Thanks to feedback from our visitors, we have decided to keep Who Forted? around through the end of 2019!

In order to prepare the exhibit for a much longer run, Who Forted? will be closed through February 7th, but will reopen on Friday, February 8th.

We'll have more details on all things 3rd floor soon, including a new exhibit, Uniquely Human, and some members-only opportunities to help us shape the future of the 3rd floor exhibits. If you're not a member already, this is the time to join!

In order to celebrate and Do Science at this year's Science with a Twist event, Kentucky Science Center will close to the public at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1st and reopen on Sunday, February 3rd at 12:00 p.m.

Kentucky Science Center will also be closed on Monday, February 11th for Give and Glow Day, our annual staff training/volunteer outreach day.

As always, keep an eye on our social media channels and website for any changes to our normal operating hours.

Sun, Earth, Universe is now open on the 2nd floor in the World Around Us near the Weather Watch exhibit.

Explore questions about the Sun, Earth, solar system, and universe. Design, build, and test your own spacecraft model that has key tools needed to complete a NASA mission. Put all your space mission-planning knowledge to the test by playing the Mission to Space board game.

In collaboration with NASA, the National Informal STEM Education Network (NISE Net) is pleased to present Sun, Earth, Universe, an engaging and interactive exhibition about Earth and space science.

MakerPlace Workshops
As part of our new MakerPlace exhibit, we're also introducing all-new MakerPlace workshops!

Tinker, hack, design, and build - the Maker movement empowers the next generation of inventors and The MakerPlace gives them the tools to explore their creative ideas. Workshops are designed for ages 8 and older.

Paid and free experiences are both available. Paid workshops include a take-home element.
