Mouthwatering recipes sans rice or pasta
| Iâm the 58-year-old new kid on the ABC Radio Perth block, a shocking turn of events for a committed âbehind-the-scenesâ type. After an initial period of white-hot terror sitting in the presenterâs chair, Iâm settling into this fun job with immense gratitude. There I was, minding my own business and contemplating retirement, before life lassoed me into a whole new rodeo. I am regularly overcome by the kindness, humour, and sharp wit of everyone who texts or calls the Saturday Breakfast program, the audience as fact checker, cheer squad, contributors of ideas and hearty debate. Itâs an extraordinary weekly exchange. I love it and I canât believe I get the opportunity to share the stories of our incredible part of the world. On Saturday March 16th I will be allowed off the studio leash and into the Provedores Market for my first show out in the wild. I hope you can join me â anything could happen given the proximity to cheese and salami. See you there! | | |
