The Association of Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialists (ACDIS) is proud to sponsor the 13th annual Clinical Documentation Integrity Week. Every year we spend a week celebrating CDI professionals and all they do for the healthcare industry. We also recognize others who contribute to the efforts for documentation improvement, including providers and HIM/coding professionals. This year our theme is CDI Success Stories: Writing your next chapter as we focus on finding personal success and writing your own unique, prosperous future in the CDI industry. To help you celebrate, ACDIS has made the following resources available for your use during the week:

ACDIS celebrates CDI professionals annually with a full week of recognition for the profession through activities, education, and fun. This year’s CDI Week theme is CDI Success Stories: Writing your next chapter, celebrating all the often unseen and underappreciated work CDI professionals do for the benefit of their organizations. Each year leading up to CDI Week, ACDIS conducts a survey to gain insight into the state of the industry. This year’s survey included questions about provider engagement, outpatient CDI and risk adjustment, professional development and staffing, and denial trends and CDI involvement.
