Dear Voornaam, It has happened. The massively delayed and hideously over-budget Glen Sannox is moving. In fact it appears to have sailed far further down Clyde than expected. Today marks the start of 'milestone' sea trials between Ferguson Marine shipyard in Port Glasgow and Greenock. The ferry is running six years late and not now due to start operating until late summer. But this is still a significant day, perhaps even the beginning of the end of this saga. There is of course another ferry, Glen Rosa, still to be finished...
