The Town of Hempstead in New York, the largest township in America, has launched an Antisemitism Task Force to address rising hate and help safeguard its Jewish community, the second-largest in the United States after New York City. A total of 40 lawmakers from 20 African countries have signed the “Addis Ababa Declaration of Africa-Israel Cooperation and Partnership”, affirming Jerusalem as the undivided and eternal capital of Israel and pledging to strengthen ties with the Jewish state. The document counters condemnation from the African Union and South Africa, which has accused Israel of genocide at the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
