For 15 years, we have enjoyed sailing in Cape Verde. We are very happy to announce that the impressive schooner brig 'Morgenster' will take care of the varied and versatile sailing holidays next winter, now that the 'Oosterschelde' is sailing a global voyage.
Island Hopping in Cape Verde is the perfect combination of active sailing and discovering a very special and inspiring country. Each full day of sailing is interspersed with a day on the island of destination, where our experienced guides show you around. In a country where winter temperatures are around 23 degrees, with favorable trade winds, and where mass tourism has not yet taken hold, we are looking forward to welcoming you on board the 'Morgenster'! | | DARWIN200 UPDATE
Since we set sail from the cold and stormy city Punta Arenas, the thermometer has been rising every nautical mile we sail north. The pleasant temperature makes the high swell here on the Pacific a lot more bearable. Last week, we were in Valparaíso, Chile. Besides the Darwin Leaders' activities on board, and - as always - the necessary maintenance, the crew also sailed! Not with the 'Oosterschelde', but with our historic sloop. |
