There is hardly any employees in one of their stores anymore, they have cut all their labor costs to a minimum, not sure how a store can handle restocking, on-line orders and other operations with barely any employees.

You are going to need more deliveries to the retail locations, they will have more inventory turns. More inventory turns at the store level is great but you are going to incur greater delivery / variable costs. This is why you need more warehouses. You are going to have to build more warehouses to support the additional demand or let the cost of diesel erode your margins. The warehouse network helps keep variable costs down.
