Limiting lawsuits: Louisiana lawmakers are weighing bills that would limit how and when homeowners can sue their insurers, an effort to appease insurance companies that say the state’s plethora of insurance-related lawsuits drive up their costs and make Louisiana a bad place to do business. Sam Karlin has the details. Superfog arrest: Louisiana State Police troopers investigating October’s massive superfog pileup on I-55 arrested a Lafayette truck driver who they say directly contributed to the death of an 87-year-old driver during the chain-reaction collisions. Michelle Hunter explains what led to the man’s arrest. 'They're all high:' This week, NOPD Superintendent Anne Kirkpatrick uttered a sentence for the ages, one you've likely heard a few times already.
