IOC meetings prior to and during the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games - Information for the Media The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will hold a number of meetings in PyeongChang prior to and during the 2018 Olympic Winter Games, which will take place from 9 to 25 February: - IOC Executive Board (EB) meeting: 3 and 4 February 2018 at the IBC - 132nd IOC Session: 6 to 7 February and 25 February 2018 at the Kensington Flora Hotel All meetings are taking place in the mountain cluster in PyeongChang. Please click here for the schedule of events. MEDIA ACCESS IBC/IOC Executive Board meeting The IOC Executive Board meeting is closed to the media. Access to the IBC will be limited. Should you need access, please contact us. Kensington Flora Hotel/IOC Session The proceedings of the IOC Session will be available via closed circuit TV at the Main Press Centre (MPC). As there will be no media working area at the Kensington Flora Hotel, media are encouraged to work at the MPC. For those who want to cover the IOC Session at the Kensington Flora Hotel,a Games accreditation will be necessary. In addition, ENG cameras and photographers will receive an armband to enter the room, which they will receive at the IOC Media Operations office at the MPC. A mixed zone will be organised. E accreditations will have access only to the lobby and mixed zone. InterContinental Alpensia Resort/OFH Media access to the IOC Hotel will be limited. However, day passes will be available during the IOC meetings and the Olympic Games to allow media to conduct already booked interviews. These passes will be delivered subject to a formal request to the IOC Media Relations Team at least 24 hours in advance. Media who require a day pass to access IOC Hotel should send an email to: [email protected], and must include the following information: - Full name and name of media organisation - Date and time of the interview as well as name of the interviewee(s) - Date the day pass is required for (including the time you plan to arrive at the hotel) - PyeongChang 2018 accreditation details, including accreditation number(s) - Contact number in PyeongChang Please note that the media day pass will give access to the lobby of the hotel ONLY.
