IOC Executive Board meeting in Tokyo, Japan - 30 November and 1 December 2018 - Information for the media

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) Executive Board (EB) will meet at the PAMIR International Convention Centre (〒108-0074 Tokyo, 港区高輪3丁目13−1) on 30 November and 1 December 2018.

The EB is scheduled to receive reports from the Organising Committees of the upcoming Olympic Games and various IOC commissions, as well as updates on the activities of the IOC administration.

Media representatives who will not be in Tokyo will have the possibility of watching the press conferences live on Periscope and YouTube. Please regularly check @iocmedia on Twitter, where we will send updates on timings.

Media accreditation:

Accreditations will be processed online. Media representatives wishing to cover the meetings are requested to register on the IOC website by Monday 19 November.

Media Facilities:

Media Working Room

A media working room will be set up at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Main Tower (4 Chome-10-30 Takanawa, Minato, Tokyo 108-8611) in the Aquamarine room, which is located on the 32nd floor, and will be equipped with free wireless internet access.

Opening hours:30 November and 1 December from 7.45 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Executive Board meetings will be held in the PAMIR Convention Centre. The meeting is closed to the media.

Photo opportunities

Photo opportunities will be organised for photographers and camera operators only. The meeting point will be at the entrance of the PAMIR Convention Centre at 8.50 a.m. on 30 November and 1 December. Media accreditation cards will be distributed at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Main Tower in the media working room as of 7.45 a.m. on 30 November.

Mixed zone

A small mixed zone will be set up outside the IOC Executive Board meeting room during the lunches.

Accommodation:

Media representatives are requested to make their own arrangements.
