We are settled into our new home and we’d like you to help us celebrate and join us for a Wicked Problems Plaza Public Event & Housewarming
HOSTED BY AQUA FOR ALL & THE NEW WORLD CAMPUS
Prior to the housewarming there will be a closed Wicked Problems Plaza meeting on Water and Sanitation. In 2016 the New World Campus (NWC) organizes in collaboration with the Partnerships Resource Centre (PRC) and the RVO.nl-knowledge program "DuurzaamDoor’ a total of 6 Wicked Problem Plaza's (WPP's). The WPP's are dealing with sustainable development and has to fit into one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Every meeting is organized with a member of the NWC community.
Aqua for All gets to kick off the first session. Each of these six meetings consists of a one-day session moderated in the Wicked Problems Plaza at the NWC and a subsequent linking up public event. The first topic to be discussed is Water and Sanitation, No. 6 of the SDG's.
Following the WPP session we organize a "public event", which is open to everyone who is interested. Jacqueline Barendse - Director Waste Foundation, board member of the Netherlands Water Partnership, chairwoman of the NGO platform and also a long-lasting Aqua for All partner in business & finance concepts for WASH - will give feedback on the meeting and she will challenge the audience to do so as well. Sjef Ernes (Managing Director, Aqua for All), will open the public event and our housewarming. The remaining participants of the WPP are expressly invited to also participate in the public activity.
