Dear Reader:

The year 2019 marks 25 years since the founding of the Middle East Forum. To celebrate a quarter-century of achievements, MEF is pleased to host a reception and dinner on Sunday, May 19, 2019, 6-10 pm in New York City.

To honor our supporters, the event is complimentary to all donors who give $500 a year or more (or $1,000 per couple). For guests who give less than that, we request a $500 contribution per person.

Click here to register your attendance.

The evening will consist of a reception, dinner, honors, acknowledgments, and excellent presentations. In attendance will be: MEF’s founding members, our national board of governors, distinguished writing fellows, grantees from around the globe, leaders of allied organizations, politicians, and special guests of honor.

Having evolved into a "think & action tank" since our founding in 1994, we will celebrate some of our recent successes:
  1. The seeds we planted for our victory narrative with senior Israeli and U.S. officials are starting to bear fruit.
  1. The Trump administration adopted one of our signature policy prescriptions by cutting all support to UNRWA.
  1. Our detailed plan to identify and weed out Islamist immigrants – differentiating them from moderate Muslims – is now being used to protect our troops in the Middle East.
  1. Our decision to help counter-Islamism activist Tommy Robinson has helped turn him into a significant political figure in the United Kingdom.

This celebration will be unlike any other MEF event to date and should not be missed. You will want to invite family and colleagues who do not yet donate to the Forum to make a contribution and be a part of an unforgettable evening filled with food, fun, and friends. Guests will have the opportunity to mix, mingle, and meet the people who have made MEF what it is today. Dress is black tie optional and we ask that you please RSVP by May 6.

Hotel recommendations will be provided for out of town guests. This event synchronizes with Daniel Pipes’ fact-finding expedition that leaves on May 20 for Warsaw, then Budapest and Vienna.

While the event will be gratis to existing donors, we also hope to raise funds to cover the event’s costs and fund our programs. In this spirit, we are offering sponsorship options for personal recognition or to promote a business: you will find these listed below.

On behalf of the board and staff of the Middle East Forum, I hope you can join us in New York on May 19 as we mark this silver jubilee.

Sincerely,

Steven Levy
Chairman
Middle East Forum
