This new list aims to recognize and celebrate the colleges and universities that are leaders in innovation and entrepreneurship. Ignition Schools don’t produce just elite students and original research; they are economic engines that generate the ideas, businesses, and opportunities that move cities, regions, and countries toward a better future through entrepreneurship.
If you represent an institution* that supports and nurtures the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs, we’d love to tell the world about it. The deadline to apply for consideration is December 22, 2023. You may submit an application here: https://inc.swoogo.com/ignitionschools.

Applying for Ignition Schools is a great way to expose Fast Company and Inc. to innovative programs and outcomes at your institution. Winners will be announced on Inc.com and FastCompany.com in early 2024. Honorees will receive the Inc. and Fast Company seal of approval known to help organizations attract press interest, top talent, and investment, and, in the private sector, acquisition.
The process to apply is easy and will take only a few minutes. We’ll evaluate all applications using a proprietary scoring system combined with our own editorial research to determine our inaugural list of Ignition Schools.
