Random acts of kindness

Despite the circumstances, people are doing good things for good people.
Anne called in to tell Sammy J on Breakfast about the act of kindness she received.
She is disabled and went to the Supermarket early to buy toilet paper. By the time she got to the checkout, she was exhausted. The man behind her, offered her a lift home, some homemade honey and helped unpack her groceries. Jacinta tracked down our kind Bee Keeper.

Mens AFL is back! Which means we welcome back Grandstand AFL and the Coodabeens

Our expert commentary team are back, led by Alister Nicholson, Corbin Middlemas, Kelli Underwood and Matt Clinch.

Joining the Grandstand team this season is Cameron Ling. Cameron will join Alister and Adam Ramanauskas from midday each Saturday with all the latest on the AFL.

From midday Sunday, Corbin will host Grandstand AFL, joining him will be Lauren Arnell, Chris Johnson, Brett Deledio and Luke Ball across the season.

Also, the Coodabeen's Champions celebrates its 40th year on air, each Saturday morning from 10am.

Congratulations Drive 

ABC’s Melbourne Drive team picked up the best long form Radio Journalism gong at the Melbourne Press Club Quill Awards.

Raf Epstein, producers Tess Armstrong and Erin Marsicovetere and features reporter Kristian Silva won for their story about the behaviour of a group of boys from St Kevin’s College, with the judges saying their work had brought the debate about culture and conduct in elite schools into "sharp focus."
