Bitcoin Magazine Ukraine Launches First Print Issue

Bitcoin Magazine Ukraine has released its first printed publication called "Bitcoin. Freedom. Ukraine."

The issue will focus on Bitcoin and its decentralized technology and include a rating of bitcoin owners in Ukraine, both well-known personalities and completely non-public Ukrainians.

The magazine will also organize a conference on February 17, 2023, in Kyiv to present the print edition. It was previously announced that the Human Rights Foundation had allocated a $25,000 grant to the publication for the development of the Bitcoin community in Ukraine.

🇸🇻 El Salvador Embassy

El Salvador To Open A Bitcoin Embassy In Texas

El Salvador is set to open its second Bitcoin Embassy in Texas, following the opening of its first in Lugano, Switzerland.

El Salvador's Ambassador to the United States, Milena Mayorga, met with representatives from the Texas government to discuss the expansion of commercial and economic exchange projects, as well as the opening of the embassy.

El Salvador made history by becoming the first country to adopt bitcoin as legal tender and has since made moves to create the world's first bitcoin-backed sovereign debt bonds and host successful conferences. The meeting with Texas representatives marks another milestone in El Salvador's adoption of Bitcoin.

🤲 Non-Custodial Wallets

Why You Should Consider The Switch To A Non-Custodial Bitcoin Wallet

Brandon Mintz, founder and CEO of the North American bitcoin ATM network Bitcoin Depot, explains why bitcoin investors should consider using a non-custodial wallet to protect their digital assets.

Mintz explains the difference between a custodial wallet, in which you give control of your bitcoin to a third party, and a non-custodial wallet, where you keep and manage your private key.

He highlights the drawbacks of custodial wallets, such as susceptibility to data breaches, third-party control and more limited liquidity, and advocates for the greater control and autonomy that non-custodial wallets can offer, even though they require greater responsibility and security measures from the user.
